| | | | Were you ever good at any video game?Still good at it? | | I consider myself a gamer but not probably one that could have made records, just the typical videogame addict once upon a time.I play Role playing games now mostly, and by mostly meaning just around once a week because I barely have the time to play now or maybe I just lost interest. I used to play versus fighting games and was considerably good at it, console and arcade. I played Tekken and can proudly say I play it good, in playstation1, that was Tekken 3. Now I still have my Playstation 2 console with me and all Tekken games(tekken 4, tag, 5) available for that console is in my hard disk, as my console is modded to play via hard disk drive and occasionally I play against my younger brothers and cousins. I just realized that I still got the moves, and really still good at Tekken 5[em]niceday[/em]...So how about you?Any video games you used to play good when you were young and could still play it good now?[em]thumbup[/em] | |

DAMN COLD!!" | | The second day of the New Year of 2008 and i'm already freezing my butt off, outside AND inside my house!I left earlier in order to trade in a wonky PlayStation 2 console, and I took and hid my $100 dollars in my jacket just in case I had to pay. On my way it felt as cold as though Hell already froze over and demons are building snow humans to torture! THAT COLD! I traded it in and paid the $100 dollars I got for Christmas, but it wasn't enough. I was short $5 to $6 dollars, and I was about to take it back until I came up with that money (Ironically it's also the money I saved in my box from my Clixsense paycheck)...that is...until someone whom I didn't recognize but knew me from high school paid my remaining trade-in price. I thanked her, but it was just as cold as I came home. Thank God I bought ear pads from a dollar store just in case.It was just as cold when I got inside back at home. So cold that I have to wear two blankets while i'm typing in MyLot! As Doc Brown said from "Back to the Future":"It's cold! DAMN COLD!" | |
| | "Stupid People" | | I was compeled to start this discussion because the more and more I think about the story I am about to tell you the more and more I get rielled up!!! Here goes....I wont mention any specific company names as to not damage their reputations,(not that I care at this point).Ok so i ordered a Playstation 2 console from a company that sells electronics, computers, accessories, etc. They have their own credit and i have a perfered account with them. Well my husband and I are Phantasy Star online junkies and the system was for him becasue while playing Monday evening his just stopped working. We have an addiction to the game and I got right on the internet and ordered it with next day shipping and everything,(meanwhile we were borowing a friends, who also has an addiction to playing online but to poker) So we needed to get it here fast, and didnt have the money to go any buy one at a store right at the moment.
