| | The Nancy Drew Stories written by ghostwriters-Isn't it an insult to Carolyn? | | Nancy drew books were my addiction when I was a kid. I was lucky enough to have a class teacher who had the old and original Nancy drew books like the secret of the old Clock, mystery of Hollow Oak and others. It was the best time of my life, with all those books. After a few years, I had searched for Nancy drew books in some shop and had found some that were Nancy drew books-58, 59 or something like that. And it was entirely a disastrous one. It didn't match up to the expectations!
I found out from the net that most of the later stories are written by Ghost Writers under her name. But after reading these stories, I just have one question in mind... Aren't these people insulting | |

| Nancy Drew mysteries | | How many nancy drew mysteries have you read? I can't remember very well. But I think I read almost all the books. It started as a requirement for a school project, "book report" as my teacher call it. Then it developed as a hobby. Before going home, I'll drop by the library to borrow one. Return it the next day and borrow again. The librarian was very nice, she allows me to bring home 2-3 books during weekends.'t you feel that they should stop doing this? | |

| Do You Remember the Nancy Drew Books? | | I read every Nancy Drew book that I could ever get my hands on. I think I read every single book, then later they came out with "different" nancy drew books and I tried reading those too and they were ok, I liked the orginals the best but they were ok. Then came the Nancy Drew Files. I wasn't as fond of those though once in a while I read them. I just didn't go out of my way to buy them or check them out but if one came past me, I would read it. I also watched the Nancy Drew series with Pamela Sue Martin and liked those but I did like the Hardy Boys better because I had a major crush on Parker Stevenson and Shaun Cassidy! I have seen the really old Nancy Drew movies that were made in black and white back in the what? 1940's or something. They are so politically incorrect in EVERY way that they are a hilarious riot to watch! I loved them. Laughed my way through them is more like it!I recently Netflixed the newest Nancy Drew movie and watched it. It was ok, not exactly what I thought Nancy Drew was like but it had its cute moments. Of course it wasn't much like any of the Nancy Drew books but still, I found it cute though I wouldn't go... | |
